A Glimpse on Edward Bass and His First Line Entertainment Company

It has been a proven fact that indie films are now starting to take a good place in the entertainment industry. Many movie viewers are now more particular to the creativity and originality of filmmakers rather than to the fancy technology used and the casting of famous stars. As a matter of fact, there are even some Hollywood stars that have already entered the world of indie films. It is simply because of the wide opportunity for them to explore new acting experience so that people can see more of them.

Producer Edward Bass is among the most notable indie film experts today in the US. He founded his own filmmaking company where he was able to work in conjunction with several brilliant minds and talents in the performing arts industry. He named this company after him so that people can easily recognize his works and so that he can share his well-established name to aspiring producers as well. As of now the company has already produced and released several remarkable indie movies. Some of these are “Slingshot”, “Come Early Morning”, “Mini’s First Time”, “Bobby”, “While She Was Out”, “The Killing Jar”, and “As Good as Dead”.

Because of his extensive experience gained from his previous jobs in the entertainment industry, Edward Bass has been able to produce quality films in a unique approach. He does not mainly depend on storyboards given to him. According to him, it is more ideal to put a personalized touch on the twists and turns in the plot, provided that he is working on a good material. He also prefers actors in each project to undergo the necessary rehearsal that will further enhance their performance. It is not the fame of the actors that matters to him. Instead, he gives more emphasis on how the actors can effectively portray the image and personality of their corresponding characters.

To date, the members of the Edward Bass Film company is working on a line of upcoming movies. Some of the movies that are currently on the pre-production process are “The Hunt”, “Ponzi”, “Chlorine”, and “Belle”.
